There is a bug with adding and removing favorites from Application Launcher
Users may choose from 2 workarounds:
•Add or remove applications you wish to Favorites column in Application Launcher. Then right click on Application Launcher icon and select "Show Alternatives" and select to switch to one of the other launchers. Then right click on Application Launcher again and switch back.
